Well it's been a mad two weeks here in the Outer Hebrides for us. So to make up for the lack of updates, we have a number of reviews coming. First however, here is some news to get you all up to date.
Emily Barker has a new album out today. It’s called ‘A Dark Murmuration of Words’ and is on all good streaming services right now. We do have a review in the works but here is a spoiler…it’s bloody good!

Jenny Sturgeon from wee bonny Scotland has released the first track from her forthcoming album ‘The Living Mountains’.

Mary Chapin Carpenter’s new album ‘The Dirt and the Stars’ is also out on all good streaming services.
Charley Crockett gifts us all with his new album ‘Welcome to Hard Times’, it is really addictive. Here in Glen Grabhair, with a storm outside and a warm fire inside, had it playing and it was a perfect evening.
Sylvie Simmons gives us her album ‘Blue on Blue’, it’s a little bit of dreamscape folk with some Scandinavian touches in there. You should all give it a listen as soon as you are able.
